today i was going to a bridal shower because i am very social and always go to all the social things to which i am invited and even some to which i am not invited so in fulfillment of my most social self, i was venturing into residential territory located many miles away from my personal residential territory, and this many-miled journey comprised approx one hour, during which hour i passed through approx 128,992 subdivisions and each subdivision contained somewhere in the neighborhood of 3,554 homes which extrapolates neatly to 458,437,568 families for which one can use the average of 3.268 members, bringing the total number of people between my home and the target home to an astounding 1,498,173,972.224, and i for one had no idea there were that many people living around here so i am not exactly convinced that my calculations are correct but i do know that i can safely say that between here and there the number of ranch-style single family homes does come to precisely one shit-ton.
