turns out madagascar is not populated by amusingly flatulant jungle animals who sing in english & dance merrily together. instead, it's filled with poverty striken peons ruled by a smarmy young dictator -- excuse me, president -- who just pulled a military coup and is rewriting the constitution as we speak b/c it currently does not allow someone his young age to be president. who knew? he looks young enough to be a fan of the disney dvd. what is he doing overthrowing his government? that's him there on the left. andry rajoelina, former dj & current teevee star, new pres of madagascar.

today at work, a coworker introduced me to an industry colleague as «the one who does everything around here & also runs on her lunch hour». introducee said «i wish i had your energy.» never sure what to say to that. «um... yeah, too bad you are such a slug. energy is super!!» yesterday, another coworker introduced me to her dad as «the one who keeps everything organized & thinks linearly.» again, not sure what to say. don't really think of myself as a linear thinker. more like a holistic thinker. i can see the linear path and also see the tangents, distractions, inputs, outputs. «you just think more linearly than the rest of us - haha!» yeah, i almost tangented right over & stomped on her toes. «oopsie! didn't see you there, outside my linearesque scope of vision.»
