do not disturb the driver - you may be the lone survivor.

traffic circles - the very bane of my driving existence - are safer than four-way stops or traffic signals. this of course makes sense b/c stupid traffic circles require so much attn b/c most drivers are complete & total eejits and cannot navigate them effectively. the whole concept keeps those of us who know what we are doing on our toes. we can tell those of you who don't know what you're doing because you are on your heels. or, mabye on the sides of your feet, like, balanced on that little outside part of your foot opposite your arch b/c you can't balance on your arch unless maybe if you are flat footed, but even then, you wouldn't really be on your arch, you'd be more on the whole bottom of your foot.

anyway, where was i? oh, yeah, traffic circles. they are safer than 4-way stops. curvy roads with no guard rails are safer than straight roads with rumble strips & guard rails. seems contradictory. roads that are designed to be safer are ironically less safe. why? b/c drivers become complacent - have a latte, send a txt, check out the gps, change the cd, eat a fry, drive. wait, what? drive? i am supposed to be driving??
