in the news: burger king & mcdonald's are battling it out in hawaii with spam-based menu options. spam is very popular in hawaii -- the state leads the nation in consumption of spam. residents consume more than 5 million pounds of spam a year, an average of about six cans for every man, woman and child.

but, at the luau... where do you put the apple?
