vacation is over. waaa!

tomorrow will be the first day back at work after a long vacation, and i am not looking forward to it. i like my job & all that, but it would be nice to be on vacation all the time. and, it's always so hectic after vacation, getting back into the swing of things. whine whine whine. this is why i like to take vacation near holidays so that my coming back aligns with others coming back from a holiday. everyone can be out of wack together.

i have not run for an entire week - since the marathon. i could use the rest, but i am starting to feel kind of like a slug. i was going to go run today, but now there is this birthday party thing that we have to go to. that's right - i do not want to go. the party will be boring. they will have a kind of cake i don't like. it's late in the day when we should be having supper.

enough whining. need to shape things up around here. infuse some humor. explore some historical or philosophical topics. this place is boring. i blame the lack of running.
