did you hear about those girls in massachusettes who made a pregnancy pact? a group of perhaps 17 high school girls agreed to all get pregnant. not sure how they all accomplished it precisely. i mean... duh - i know how babies are made. what i am saying is i don't know the details here of the partners & all that. i did hear that at least one of the girls was impregnated by a local homeless man. interesting choice, that. the stated motive for the pregnancies was to bring someone into the world who would love them unconditionally. er... right. okay, here's the problem with that -- you can choose to love someone unconditionally, but someone else will make those choices on his/her own, and just b/c you're someone's mom, it does not necessarily follow that that someone loves you unconditionally. wondering especially if all those girls love their moms unconditionally. hmmm...?
