curing boredom at the office

some ideas for pumping up the volume on your typical workday:

- tour des restrooms. peeing becomes an adventure when you pee in a new place. visit all the restrooms in the building. make a list & check them off. better yet, make a spreadsheet and log how many times you visit each facility. create a chart, print it in color, & post it on your wall.

- set up an email template & use it to reply to bothersome coworkers: this looks like an out-of-office notice, but indeed - i am in the office today. oh, that's right, i am here -- but i am not answering your doofus email.

- when someone compliments your outfit -- you look nice. special occassion? -- tell them -- no. i just couldn't get the blood stains off my other clothes. turns a gentle compliment into a show stopper. especially useful to deflect the compliements when the reason you're dressed up is that your're going for an interview at the competition.
