sweet & sour

yeah, yeah. sweet & sour. but i prefer sesame chicken, so here's a pic of that.

sweet:
* 11.2 this morning in 1:46.
* caught this on the odometer for ya - 1961196. honesty compels me to reveal it was 196119.6. no less sweet for the dot, eh?
* how 'bout them 'dores with a win over the blue mist today.
* paid the phone bill & the mortgage, balanced the checkbook.
* gonna get to go to the office supply store & get new supplies for the new year. love me some office supplies.
* uh... sesame chicken. alternately, blue coast burrito salad.

sour:
* when you start counting calories, you might be surprised how much you are consuming. most days it's under control, but on the weekends, well... let's just say weekends need some work.
* laundry & filing piling up.
* lofton injured in ut v. usc game. that's south carolina,
not southern cal.

that's enough of that.

so far this year, have read glass castle by jeannette walls, and give that one a double thumbs up. currently reading cross by james patterson, and would have to say it's a stereotypical male-written mystery/crime novel. that is - shallow, obvious, predictable, & violent. the violence i could to without, but hey, everyone needs a little shallow now & then.

the real estate mkt around here is absofreakin'lootely out of control. our neighbors' house sold for $280k and another neighbor has their house up for $290k. even this old shack, with the ancient carpet and hens in the kitchen, even this place could go for $250k no problem. if it were just me, i'd sell it and get an airstream and a harley and live on the road. wonder if i could tow an airstream w/ a harley... the specs on this one say it can be towed by conventional vehicles including most cars. how 'bout a kickash harley? maybe it's a strong as a car, eh? it would probably fall over... so i put the harley in the airstream and tow it all with my jeep. the jeep would come in handy for carrying my canoe.

wellnow, it ain't just me, and there are better things in life than bein' alone in an airstream. but, if it were just me, that's where i'd be.
