green like guacamole

so, the soccer league has an odd number of teams, meaning the two bottom teams have to play into the end-of-season tournament. like the play-in to the ncaa basketball tourney. the crappy green team has had such a stellar season, we were in the play-in game. the good news is we won - the bad news is that meant we had to play another game immediately. against the #1 team. with only 10 players. in 98º weather. no, we did not pull off the amazing win of the century, but hey - we are not the last place team. so there!

after the game, we went to the mexicali grill to get some salty chips & wet water. what happened was that i ate too, too, too many chips. did not actually realize there could be a too many when it came to chips, but surprise - there is. it's like... 4 baskets. yeah, 4 is too many.

got home & my old man's hungry b/c he's been waiting on us to get home. eat again, to be social? ah, it can probably be done. that's the price of love.
