would you say that baseball is no longer a terribly popular sport? people don't watch it as much on tv. kids don't want to play it. just not as fun as the faster & glitzier sports -- football, basketball, and internationally - soccer. but, here is what is odd about baseball -- baseball is the only sport where people playing other sports wear a piece of that sport's equipment when they are playing their other sport. what? confused? baseball caps, man - baseball caps! we all wear them all the time. golfers wear them. footballers wear them. everybody wears them all the time & any time, playing sports or watching sports or just walking around. baseball caps are ubiquitous.
