you've heard of tuna salad & pasta salad & chicken salad & salmon salad & ceasar salad & taco salad, but what about hot dog salad?

hot dog layer salad:

12 hot dog buns
18 hot dogs
1/2 cup sweet pickle relish
1/4 cup mustard
1/4 cup ketchup
small bag potato chips
small bag fritos

cook hot dogs according to package directions. place 6 buns in a layer at the bottom of a 13x9 pan or large bowl. chop hot dogs bite size pieces. layer 1/2 of chopped hot dogs over buns. mix relish, mustard, ketchup. pour about 1/2 of relish-mustard-ketchup mixture over hot dogs, then proceed with another round of buns, hot dogs, and relish-mustard-ketchup mixture. crush potato chips & fritos - sprinkle over top. serve immediately.
