thoughts while avoiding the decision about supper

70% of usa high school students do not graduate high school. appalling.

the economy in cuba is opening up a wee bit under the new raoul regime. the cubans are snapping up dvd players, motorbikes, and pressure cookers. that's right -- pressure cookers are a hot commodity. get it? cooker? hot? yeah....

an inordinate amount of people at my office walk around mumbling to theirselfs. what is up with that? are they praying? memorizing their times tables? putting hexes on people? one wonders.

okay. what's for supper?
