doh!

almost turned on the simpsons just now, but having not watched a single episode of that show... ever... i concluded that i am simply not up to the challenge - and, may never be. the ginormity of the task looms over me.

there are episodes upon episodes, years & years of shows to watch, all laden with references that have become part of the popular culture. the fact is, i don't really want to watch the shows -- i simply yearn to know the references.

i need the cliff's note to the simpsons.
